Rancor raid ends automatically

Hi! Can someone help us finding out why the raid always ends like this? (see short (28s) video)The only person earning anything is the guilt leader, everyone else in the guild earns 0 raid points and doesn’t get to battle the rancor at all?

(edit: for someone who might not want to watch the vid: I select my squad, press “battle” the rancor appears, roars, then a second later it falls over and is defeated. I can’t do anything before that happens. Then the battle is over. Raid points 0.)

We can’t figure out why (and we’re all relatively new to the game too). But most are at lvl 85.

Any help/idea/suggestion would be greatly appreciated!! thanks!

  • If I remember correctly. The Rancor Raid is lunch and everyone starts attacking. I'm about 20 minutes or less, it's done. If you have some heavy hitters players, they will get it done. I don't know if everyone get the max crate. Do you get a create with no attack points in the Rancor?

1st we use to have the lunch at the time almost everyone can attack. Or we ask some no to attack for the first 10 minutes (or more) so the low hitters get some pints.

I haven't done the Rancor is about 3 years...

  • You are too late to the party. Max create archived. It's beed a long time but is Rancor is still the same, everyone plays at the same time. You must hit it right away.  Or talk to your guild mates for a even attack

    Hi!
so do I understand that right, only one person can actually battle the rancor and once it’s defeated that’s it? (A little weird for a guilt event..) so we have to take turns?

“or talk to your guild mates for an even attack?” (Could you elaborate on that? (Please))

in any case: thank you so much for taking the time to respond 🙏

  • Sorry, I am re reading you post. I focus on your main question the 1st time.

Is your guild leader taking about it? So, you don't get the shards neither the rewards?

You have to hit the raid, to get the rewards.  In the very old days, guilds used to have a sign up period.  Then everybody that signed up got rewards.  However, you had to control the guild so that they didn't hit it.  A CLS team for example, could solo rancor.  This caused issues and many a person to be kicked from a guild.

Then CG applied a 'sign up' period.  Now....what happened after this.............I have no idea.  As we all moved on to the modern raids.

From what I'm seeing from your video, it appears that modern raid concepts are applying to the original 3 raids.  E.g. max 5 attempts and auto-launch. This isn't really beneficial to how the old style raid works, as they're quite different (and better) to modern raids.

So, it appears that your guild leader is launching the raid, then going into it and soloing it, preventing any other person in the guild getting rewards.  I think managing such a thing, is very very tough, but still....

If the guild leader has done this by accident, liaise with the guild and try to organise a 'hardly no damage' period for the first 24 hours.  You go in with weak characters, get killed and come out.

If the guild leader is aware of what they have done, find a new guild.
