In this case, both SEE are using basics BUT they are in ultimate stance. The basic in ultimate stance can be countered (or at least, it's not stated in the kit).
My point of view is that the bug is that my SEE is not counterattacking. But if the "ultimate basic" cannot be counetered, then the bug is that the ennemy SEE is counterattacking.
Do you happen to have a video of this?
We have attempted to reproduce this, but each time we have, both SEE's counter each other basics. The player controlled SEE gets countered when he attacks with his basic, but in return, the opponent SEE gets countered by the player controlled SEE when he attacks with his basic.

Sorry I did not get the notification for your answer. I'll try to reproduce this with remaining attempts, but I'm currently avoiding these teams on purpose.
Just to be sure, during your tests, both SEE were in ultimate stance?
