Tie Fighter didn't get marked becaused P1 dodged

So I was doing my GAC Executor counter with Executrix (Vader, Scythe and Tie Defende start up) and on the opening play, P1 dodged the Tie Fighter special attack. I got the foresight, but didnt get marked, and I lost, the match went sideways. Is that expected or? As far as I know if you get foresight,  you should get marked
