Titans with Old Ben TM bug against zeta Palps

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Apple iPhone
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? iPhone X
OS Version 11.1
Ally Code: (Find it here: http://bit.ly/AllyCode ) 772-551-798
What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug When using the new zeta Palpatine team against a “Titans” team that uses Old Ben instead of General Kenobi, the opponents CLS, Thrawn, and R2 go before my first turn even though I have a faster Thrawn. My Thrawn is 273 speed, his Thrawn is 247. Here are his speeds: CLS (zeta lead & IBAT)- 247, Thrawn (no zeta) - 247, R2 (maxed)- 260, Old Ben (no zeta)- 213, Han Solo (maxed)- 226. My Thrawn should go right after his Han Solo opens the match with “Shoots First”, however, his entire team takes a turn before I get to move (except his Old Ben). It appears that R2 & CLS are taking damage even though I haven’t gone yet. Their protection gets reduced bright away. My Team: I’m using Palps (zeta lead)- 220, Thrawn (no zeta) - 273, Nihilus (no zeta)- 212, Vader (no zeta)- 205, and Kenobi - 193.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Reproduce the teams. Try using the new EP meta team with ONLY a zeta on Palpatine lead. Go up against a Titan team that uses Old Ben instead of GK. Make sure your Thrawn is faster than everyone on opponent’s team. Note the damage to opponent’s protection that happens because of Crackling Doom. Then get a ton of TM before you take a turn. This does not happen when GK is used. Only when Old Ben is on a Titan team. I do not have a zeta on DN unique, nor Vader’s unique. So Vader can’t resist Han’s TM reduction, and the opponents can’t resist a debuff from DN’s unique...because the zetas are not active. I think something is happening between Han Shoots first, CLS lead, OB, Crackling Doom, and perhaps even Palpatine’s lead. Especially if the Rebels under a CLS lead can resist the passive effects of Palpatine. Or if Palps is passively damaging the Rebels right away and ramping their speeds up beyond 273+ Anyway, There seems to be some “hidden” TM gained from his team resisting the effects of Palpatine, and perhaps my team resisting TM reduction from Han? I don’t know. Again, all this happens before I take a turn. I have screen shots and might be able to get video too.

I attached a photo of the opening. Again, I have not taken a turn and my Thrawn is much faster than opponents R2, Thrawn, and CLS.

    Hiya,

This does not appear to be a bug and is working as intended.

  • Just a thought, when Han goes first, he takes damage from crackling doom right? Then CLS will gain TM because a rebel ally has taken damage. That maybe puts him going second. And perhaps your Thrawn and his R2 filled their TM at the same time, in which case it would be a coin flip as to who goes first between them. Got no explanation for how his thrawn outpaced yours though.
  • Honestly I think it is all about CLS zeta rather than old ben. If CLS has It Binds All Things zeta then this really all makes sense.

    1) Han shoots first before the real turns start
    2) Han takes dmg from your palp
    3) CLS Learn control is triggered by han taking dmg feeding him 10% turn meter
    4) CLS goes and debuffs Kenobi 2 times
    5) CLS It Binds All Things triggers from the debuffs feeding ALL allies 10% turn meter (5% per debuff)
    6) At this point your thrawn and the entire other team all have 100% turn meter (minus their Luke and Han who have already taken a turn)
    7) Tie breaker logic kicks in and the game just randomly chooses who goes first since there are now 4 ppl with 100% turn meter.
    8) Their R2D2 and Thrawn get better rng than your thrawn and go first, then your thrawn and then their old ben.
    9) Normal gameplay resumes

^ This is a much better and neater explanation than I managed. Think you've nailed it.
  • pci is right, opposing CLS effective start speed = 247(1-0.1) = 274.44

Faster than your Thrawn, he attacks and lands debuffs, giving even more TM to his entire team, and leading to your described scenario.
