Transferred iOS account to Android, can no longer access Android account

So today I decided to try and make things easier since I have two accounts (one iOS and one Android) so I used the new "Link a Device" option. What I didn't do, however, was swap over to my second Gmail account prior to doing this. Now I can't access my Android account since it's apparently no longer associated with that Google Play account at all. I've talked to tech support and they said there's no way to correct this. I refuse to accept this, there's no way that it can't be reversed. The account is still there and all the information is still intact (can still update the swgoh.gg profile and see the account on the friends list of my iOS account). There has to be someone out there in the CG/EA offices that can fix my blunder without me ending up down an account due to a little stupidity on my end.

    When transferring accounts the old data is lost as it is converted to the new platform.  If you saved one account over an existing account then the old account is lost and cannot be recovered.

    I have the same problem, and I am really angry, because at the time of the transfer of accounts, nowhere does it mention that the data will be overwritten or that the data will be permanently deleted, the technical service tells me that There is nothing to do. I have invested a lot of time and money so that an error of them makes all my progress go away

  • That argument about “the old data is lost” is simply wrong. I had the exact same problem and my “old” account is still there in the game. This is not a matter of lost data but of unwillingness to implement a recovery option from an involuntary mistake caused by imprecise wording in the link a device option.

    @prufrockJNN If you move from one platform to another the old account information is no longer there. It is not possible to retrieve it as it is removed.
