Overseer says “...other Separatists and dark side Droid allies gain max protection equal to 30% of Wat’s max health.”
These are two categories of groups who receive the bonus, but it is not granted double for dark side separatist droids. You can contrast the skill with Vader’s No Escaoe unique, which very carefully words the skill to provide double bonuses for Rebel Jedi Enemies or Empire + Sith allies.
Wat should be correctly granting max protection equal to 30% of his health to your SepDroids.
