hello there I have been a lifetime long sims player and when I saw the Sims and The Sims 2 were getting rereleased I was very excited but when I bought it The sims 2 worked but The Sims didn't I tried reinstalling it and that didn't work, I also tried the C++ reinstallation And that didn't work have tried and nothing had worked have any of you found a way to fix? it was a vulkan error.
You have to have a GPU that supports Vulkan
I'm not really a tech wiz but does Intel(R) HD graphics Support Vulkan?
Intel HD Graphics cards included in processors made after 2016 do, earlier ones don't.
If you updated your graphics driver and the Vulkan message didn't go away... your PC isn't compatible with The Sims 1 Legacy.

Note that TS2 Legacy doesn't use Vulkan, that's why it works.
If you find even a GTX 1660 Super that'll be enough to run it
