My game is opening i can play it for an hour then it crashing it has done it twice. The first time it crashed my computer froze, so i knew my computer needed a update. It updated then i opened the game up again and it just crashed and closed out completely. How do I stop it from happing again? I been wanting so long to play The Sims 1 for the longest time, now i cant play without it crashing
Yorkcity20 Please describe the context for each crash, as in, what lot your sim was on and what you were having them do. There are a few common themes, and some crashing seems random.
Please also provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
The first crash i was traveling to downtown shopping center, when i clicked the lot my screen went black and froze my pc. The second crash i was on my home lot my male sim was going to spray the bugs in the bedroom, Luckly my pc didnt freeze that time. I tried again to play and i left my pc open and left it for a second came back to my ea app open and game closed
