simmmmmmio Please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

hi, thank you for replying!
here it is :)
simmmmmmio Your dxdiag lists a number of serious crashes of one of the graphics drivers. So please do a clean uninstall and reinstall of both the Intel and Nvidia drivers, as described here:
When reinstalling the drivers, use the newest one Dell provides for the Intel iGPU (under Video):
https://www.dell.com/support/product-details/en-us/product/xps-15-9500-laptop/drivers
and the newest Game Ready Driver from Nvidia, linked here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
The order of operations here is uninstall the Nvidia driver > uninstall the Intel driver > restart > reinstall the Intel driver > restart > reinstall the Nvidia driver > restart, all with your computer offline.

One question, I see that your sims game looks much better than mine, how did you do it?
Even the interface looks better than mine.
Thanks. - simmmmmmio10 months agoNew Rookie

hi :)
it's an ui replacement for sims 1!
here: https://justmiha97.tumblr.com/post/681997997900431360/sims-1-alternative-ui-update
simmmmmmio Please try each option available when you click alt-enter and let me know whether one of them helps. Quit and reload the game after switching. There should only be about four modes, so it shouldn't take too long to test.

hiii
here it is:
1234the next step would be the full screen and it happens the same as in 4, so it starts to fail from the largest resolution :(
simmmmmmio You do have a high-resolution screen, enough that your GPU might be struggling a bit to handle all those pixels. You're also using a high and uncommon DPI scaling, which I don't know for sure is an issue, but you can try using 192 (200%) instead. Here's how:
https://www.elevenforum.com/t/change-display-dpi-scaling-level-in-windows-11.934/
Restart your computer after changing the setting. If it doesn't help, revert the setting and restart again.
If this doesn't help, please loo for new errors in the Reliability Monitor. Hit Windows key-R and enter "perfmon /rel" without quotes, and you'll see a chart of errors and updates with a column for each day. Today is on the right.
Look for errors that happened at while you were playing Sims 4 and seeing the screen glitching, and specifically after you reinstalled the graphics driver. If you find one, double-click it to see more details, then copy that info and paste it into a reply here. If you don't see a new error, check back in an hour or so—the Reliability Monitor doesn't always update right away.
I don't need to see exact duplicates, just one of each type of error you find. I would like to know how many of each error you see though.
