Odd spawn point when Sim comes home from work or school (Sims 1 Legacy)

I noticed a minor bug, nothing game breaking, but when my Sim comes home from work or a kid comes home from school, they don't automatically spawn. I have to click their faces in the family and then they spawn by the mailbox rather than by the vehicle they exited. Happy to create a screen recording. Cheers,
