Sims 1 Legacy: Tiny scaled neighborhood and CAS screens

I run my monitor at 1080P and for some reason, when loading into the neighborhood, the screen is super tiny, it's a struggle to see what I am clicking on. The same thing goes for Create A Sim, the screen is super tiny while it has all this wasted space all around it. I get they can't make those full widescreen but the 4:9 part of the screen should at least fill up to my monitor's height. Playing inside the game uses my full monitor other than the UI scaling bug for 1080P that everyone mentioned in other threads. I've included screenshots.
