    Hi all,

    This was resolved in today's patch:

    • The UI scaling at different levels can be too extreme


    If you're still experiencing this issue, please create a new post so we can continue to investigate. Thanks!

It boggles my mind that EA are somehow unable to realise nor acknowledge the issue with this game when running at 1080p native desktop resolution, and the effect it has on the UI scaling and the maximum level of zoom into the game engine.

  1. The Sims Complete Collection - OG CD's - 1080p - correct maximum game zoom level and UI scale.
  2. The Sims Legacy Collection - Steam re-release - 1080p - incorrect maximum game zoom level and UI scale


The issue is clearly visible when comparing these two screenshots.

I'm not sure how else to demonstrate the issue EA? Seriously? 😠

    Thanks for these 2 screenshots. I felt like maximum zoom was far too tiny on my monitor as well as the UI, but I wasn't sure if it was just that my eyes are 25 years older now too. I really hope they fix this, because the game is too small on my screen to play comfortably, and it's not only the teeny UI at fault. I have no idea how they released the game with this issue at what is not an uncommon screen resolution. 😕
