bnb-89 Are you getting BlueScreens when you try to play, or is your computer otherwise shutting down? The BSODs are clear in your dxdiag; the question is when they're happening.
Regardless, please update your graphics driver. Go here:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
Select GeForce, GTX 16 series (notebooks), GTX 1660 ti, Windows 11, and download the Game Ready Driver. Run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
LittleTurtle666 Try reseting your user data. Move the "The Sims 25" out of this folder:
C:\Users\your username\Saved Games\Electronic Arts
and the game will create a new one with no user data. Don't restore your old saves yet; just see how the game runs. If you get more crashes, let me know whether there's any pattern to them.
kirstiewoolhouse Your dxdiag shows that both graphics drivers are outdated. Update the Intel one first, then restart, then update the Nvidia driver again, then restart again. You can get new drivers here:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/134876/intel-core-i58300h-processor-8m-cache-up-to-4-00-ghz/downloads.html
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/
For each one, run the installer as an admin: right-click the download and select "Run as administrator." Restart afterwards and before trying to play.
For anyone whose game doesn't open at all, especially if you're seeing a Vulkan-related error, please post in the current master thread, and provide the info requested in the accepted solution:

Hey puzzlezaddict !
Thank you so much! I've been able to play for more than 5 minutes! Is there a way to restore my old save? I liked the family I made.
