My sims game still is crashing. The problem is I don't get an error code it just crashes.
I waited to see if this would change with the new patch and sadly it hasn't.
I have noticed it crashes at a certain time and with a certain sim in my game so maybe it's just a certain thing that is causing the crash.
Not sure is anyone else has had this issue since it seems pretty specific!
Do you get a Sims_stkdump file where the game files are? If so, you should post it here so the devs can see what went wrong :)
My game has the same problem.
I start playing with my sims and the game closes when I activate the crash trigger.
Same problem here... Couple minutes in and the game just closes without any message...
Just post the whole text doc?

meoweievui gabrielzein ThatWildOzzy katalevitz Please describe the context of the crashing, for anyone from EA who may review this thread. The crash dump Blayer98 would also be helpful.
Additionally, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Finally, if anyone is seeing a crash on launch or shortly after, any time before you can actually play, please try this workaround, in case the files mentioned aren't populating:
