The Sims 1 Legacy won't launch at all

i have the same problem with windows 11 

I'm posting to get updates on this as well. Bought it in full and I have windows 10, the game says preparing game and then screen goes black and then nothing, just shows back up in the EA App like nothing...its disappointing. How long can we wait for it to be fixed before requesting a full refund? 

I got my copy through steam and within minutes of the "vulkan" error showing i got my refund. what a joke! So disappointed. really was excited to play this again on my windows 11

Yep this is still happening to me too, they claim they fixed it in the 2/6 patch but still can't launch the game. 

I’m in the situation as you. I tried chatting with EA for a refund today, but they refused even though I have yet to play. They basically said I’ll just have to wait for a patch. I just wish there was a little more communication on whether the problem is actively being worked on, and how long it may take. I’m worried I’ll never get to play!
