The Sims Legacy lag

Question

I purchased The Sims 1 Legacy on the EA App, and while the game itself hasn't crashed on me, it struggles (lag and choppiness) when there are more than 3-4 sims on a residential lot, and it struggles even more on community lots. The latest patch doesn't seem to address this issue, as I have an AMD RX 7800 XT graphics card and heard that AMD cards may be having issues with lag. Would appreciate some help with this issue and wonder if it is even being addressed by EA.

You're definitely not alone - I've had this issue as have a bunch of others with AMD cards. I've seen that someone at EA has clocked this and they're investigating... Hopefully we get some justice soon and can play it properly!!

It is an AMD issue, I swapped in my 4070 from my 7900 gre and the fps drops went completely away for me.
