After sims 2 legacy update

Question

After the soms 2 legacy update, I now cannot apply for scholarships, the game freezes then goes back once my sim gets off the phone = no scholarship. (Maxed skill on some so would be apply to get a scholarship)

Also sims memory won't save for example; been taken by a ufo leaves no memory, gets on the deans list leaves no memory of that, sells a master piece leaves no memory.

I have no idea what else I can do, I've uninstall and re installed the game, I've repaired the game via EA App since the update, no fix.

I also get no error message as the game doesn't crash its just not giving any memories and university isn't working as it should.

I also can't apply for scholarships. I could with a previous teenager in the same house using the same computer. When I try with the new one, the game freezes for a moment and then the teen disappears from the desk chair and reappears standing next to the desk with the computer. They have many maxed skills so should have scholarships available. I verified that it didn't work behind the scenes because I was able to check their accepted scholarship list and it said they had none.

Yes mine is exactly the same as that but also I'm missing memories I.e getting on deans list etc. Fingers crossed it'll get fixed soon 😊&nbsp;
