Alien-related cutscenes bugged

While playing with the Curious household the abduction cutscene was bugged and didn't finish playing resulting in Vidcund not getting abducted. The alien birth cutscene with Pascal was also broken, the baby was missing during the cutscene (and Pascal lost his arms! 😱) But the baby was added to the family successfully and everything played fine afterwards. 

I've also had both alien cutscenes bug out on another household with a Sim I made in a different neighbourhood but he was able to get abducted successfully (even with a broken cutscene) and gave birth (again, with a broken cutscene), so I don't really know what to make of it. Is it just the Curious household that's bugged badly and can't get abducted or are alien abductions broken entirely and I just got lucky?

I managed to get some screen recordings of both instances with the Curious household (the video quality isn't the greatest. I had to really compress it to get it to attach).

As an additional bug, during my recording I got 2 separate error messages regarding "Object Error" and "Enthusiasm Tracker"
