Are we ever going to actually be able to play the rerelease?

After both most recent updates, my game crashes every time I attempt to load a family to play. First it was a 3D error message. Now, after the most recent update, all it says is "This application has crashed. The game will now crash." My computer does currently run on Windows 11, but as this is a rerelease, you'd assume they would make sure to update the game to operate on this system.

I don't know about you all, but I didn't pay $30 for a game that is going to continuously crash when I try to play. This is becoming extremely frustrating, as I haven't been able to play all week. I was really looking forward to the nostalgic feeling of playing Sims 2, and now I just want a refund.
