Bugs: Aliens, births and teenagers

That the babies do not appear during the birth cutscene is troublesome but not a gaming dealbreaker for now. 

However, during the alien abduction cutscene my sim just leaves? So I have to sit through the cutscene every time but he doesn't get abducted and just goes off to do something else. I noticed that you can't get abducted when an NPC is in your house (like a guest or nanny) but then it stopped working despite all the NPCs being gone. 

I also have the problem that when I leave the game, to check on something else on the computer, it crashes. This became an apparent problem when I was looking up cheat codes because my teen sim doesn't work properly. She can begin tasks but never finish them. When she cooks, she prepares the food and once she gets to the oven she (and the oven) just breaks. Like there was no food being cooked. And when she digs for treasure the items do not appear in her inventory (like she doesn't have an inventory). She also can't do her homework, she sits down and immediately stands up as if she has finished and the game recognizes it as her having done the homework (so not a dealbreaker, but slightly annoying). 

Does anyone else have issues with teens? I know the alien abduction and babies cutscenes are being buggy for others, but what about teens?
