Hi everyone, I will say that after the recent patch the sims 2 I noticed that I am still having crashing issues with CAS or when I do select a household, I do get a popup stating my game has crashed. This is within the same locations i was getting the D3DERR_INVALIIDCALL! error when trying to play the game. In case in this event that this is the same thing I have attached and additional copy of DxDiag below in case it is still needed. Along with a photo of what my screen looks like when I am launching CAS or trying to play an existing family.

UPDATE: EA_Cade It seems from the update on 2/12/2025 It seems to be working! I can access existing households. Along with going into CAS without the crash messages. 🎉It also let me load in a sim I created in CAS and start playing! So, I can say as of right now it seems the crashes I was having have been resolved.

Looking into this now, could you provide an EA Error Report ID if you're playing on EA app as well?

If you could provide the AppWarnings.log located in Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Logs\ that would also be helpful!

I was finally able to launch the game after this patch but I am now getting this issue as well when trying to create a sim.EA_Cade I’m launching on the EA App
