the game randomly crashes right before initiating a loading screen before I can even load a sim in and There are no errors. I'm just back to the desktop with EA App immediately. also edge scrolling isn't working anymore also it even the arrow keys
Same problem, cant scroll on the neighborhood screen. Also I have this thing where the game laggs everyday (sim day) between 1200 midnight and 0100.
same here was playing fine before they tried to fix stuff
It happens for me right after the intro sequence.
Doesn't matter whether I let the intro play through, or click to end it early, once the intro is done, I'm back at my desktop with no error messages.
The games crashes when I attempt to open a particular household and shuts down immediately. This mainly to one family even before Patch 5.
Game crashed after 7 minutes of play after recent patch. No problems previously (other than borked alien abduction and birth cutsceen). Edge scrolling non-functional but can be worked around by holding down right mouse button.
