claramj The most recent TS2 patch was about 18 months ago, and there's no indication that anyone at EA is working on the game now. (And since we're on the subject, Sims 3's only update in over a decade was to make it run properly on certain Intel processors where the game wouldn't otherwise start at all. There haven't been any in-game changes since 2014.)
Having said that, it doesn't appear that other players have crashing issues anywhere near what you're describing. Is there any pattern to the crashing? Do you get any errors? Feel free to post a dxdiag as well, and I'll look it over.
