I just updated my game and edge scrolling isn't working anymore. Really makes me realize how much I use this lol. Anyone else have this issue?

Rotating the camera, OK. Relearning to use the arrows on my keyboard, kind of OK.
Yea, same here and its beyond frustrating. I just wanna edge scroll!
You guys do know you can hold right mouse button to scroll the screen, right? It works this way in all Sims games and most other strategies. I personally find this easier than edge scrolling, which I am turning off anyway. Still, EA should not break this function for those who want to use it. But I am offering you alternative, until EA will fix edge scrolling.
Yeah, I know.. you can also use wasd-keys, but after playing this game for 18 years my muscle memory simply cannot get used to it lol. I keep getting frustrated but hahah

Yes! I have resorted to moving my sims to the edge of where I want to scroll and then click on the sim to center them, which then allows me to see the part of the screen I could not scroll to. Very frustrating.
Edge scrolling non-functional but can be worked around by holding down right mouse button. Game also crashed after 7 minutes of play after recent patch. No problems previously (other than borked alien abduction and birth cutsceen).
Also having issues with typing in the cheat bar. Nothing shows up.
I'm having the same issue too, and I am not happy about it. It's very annoying.
Hopefully they can fix this issue.
I’m super happy and thankful EA still supports and updates TS2, I just really wish they wouldn’t do patch fixes right before the weekend. Because they deserve a weekend, but it sucks when the game is unplayable over the weekend because they can’t even see there are problems until monday. Not fully unplayable, but you know what I mean. People are pretty frustrated about this and that sucks.
Also I feel really dissapointed because it seems like literally everyone is having this issue, don’t they play test the patches before release? This isn’t an issue you run in to during a specific scenario, this is something that happens the minute you load into a save..
Again, very thankful they still are trying to fix this game, just wish they could give us the fix a little earlier in the week so they could monitor issues like this before logging off for the weekend. Just some thoughts.
Please bring edge scrolling back. I’m so bummed . Messed up my flow getting back into this game
I’m obviously commenting on here in hopes EA fixes this issue . Gives the option for players to scroll . It has it in the sims 2 settings . Why not let people choose
