Question

Finally, after several months of frustration and aggravation, I am FINALLY able my Sims 2 game once again. When this happened I was playing the Burb's family, when lightning struck a tree in their yard. Now normally when a tree catches on fire, the fire will go out shortly, BUT NOOOOOOO, not this time. The whole tree got engulfed by flames, so I had Jennifer call the fire department to put out the fire. He didn't put the fire out, but instead yelled at John for calling in a false alarm, and charged the family 500 semolians.

I have photo PROOF that there was a fire, now where do I demand my money back from the fire department? lol

Yeah, firefighters don't fight tree fires and will always fine you. The rain is supposed to put them out. The breadfruit tree has a glitch for some reason that causes it to continue burning. I stopped putting them in my yard. Cyjon did make a fix for it though if you want to go that route.

I so dislike that bug. If no one is reacting to it, I save and exit the lot to reset it. There's also the invisible fire that Everyone keeps reacting to.  :(
