I think the firefighter must be blind (photo)

Finally, after several months of frustration and aggravation, I am FINALLY able my Sims 2 game once again. When this happened I was playing the Burb's family, when lightning struck a tree in their yard. Now normally when a tree catches on fire, the fire will go out shortly, BUT NOOOOOOO, not this time. The whole tree got engulfed by flames, so I had Jennifer call the fire department to put out the fire. He didn't put the fire out, but instead yelled at John for calling in a false alarm, and charged the family 500 semolians.

I have photo PROOF that there was a fire, now where do I demand my money back from the fire department? lol

  • Yeah, firefighters don't fight tree fires and will always fine you. The rain is supposed to put them out. The breadfruit tree has a glitch for some reason that causes it to continue burning. I stopped putting them in my yard. Cyjon did make a fix for it though if you want to go that route.
  • I so dislike that bug. If no one is reacting to it, I save and exit the lot to reset it. There's also the invisible fire that Everyone keeps reacting to. :(
