Major problems and crashes

I'm having a lot of issues playing the Sims 2 rerelease (for which I payed 30€ btw). The game continuously crashes, and I don't think it's caused by anything in particular, it simply decides to stop working. I wasn't able to play for more than 20 minutes without problems or crashes. I've also experienced pets disapearing when I moved from one house to another. It seems like the game was launched with too many bugs nobody cared to check, and it looks like they are completly random problems we cannot anticipate. 

I get that the game means a lot to some people (me included), but I feel a bit robbed by EA. We payed for a game that a lot of people already had because we wanted to continue having fun with our newest devices. I think it was a really good idea but please, it needs urgent fixing.

We don't want our money back, we want the game we payed for.
