Hi, my PC specs are Ryzen 9 5900X, 64GB RAM, Asus Dual RTX 4060 8GB. When I try to launch the game, it just sits on unresponsive and it crashes. My screen gets very large and I need to restart Windows to fix my 1920 x 1080 display. The Sims 1 has no issues but has tiny buttons. Please fix this issue EA or I will request a refund via Steam!

I'm having the same issue. I am on an i9-14900K, 4090, 64 GB RAM. Sims 1 loaded up right away, though a bit small (and square shaped) but I haven't gone INTO the gameplay to fix it since the Sims 2 was giving me problems. Pressing "Play" makes my screen zoomed in with gigantic icons (like when loading old resolution games), does nothing in Task Manager and just hangs until I force close it. I saw someone post a fix but I did not buy the RE-RELEASE just to have to do workarounds. Chat support has no solution.

my game does this too. putting it in windows mode made it work but I hope they fix it soon.

You're welcome. I'm not sure. I went ahead and requested a refund. The workarounds for $40 is crazy!
