Same here, if my sim tries to eat anything cooked by themself, a pop up with an "error" with the option to reset or delete appears and my sim can't eat

This really sucks that they would claim to fix it in today's patch and it seems to only have gotten worse.

Yea pretty **bleep**! 🤬🤬 spent HELLA money for an old **bleep** game and can't even do a simple NEEDS task. EA, always letting us down.

Are EA going to fix this issue? Sims being able to eat is a fundamental in game function for basic needs. We aren’t asking for anything fancy here but the basics need to function for this to be a playable release. Please EA can you fix this?

Object move and deleting SIM worked for me , saved after and went in and out of neighbourhood , was back by the mail box and could cook and eat

They fixed it I guess, but I had to do a completely fresh install to get it to stop happening on the sim that was afflicted. Doing a clean install means both uninstalling from EA/Steam and deleting the files from both EA games>TS2 Legacy folders, because uninstalling doesn't actually remove any of the files.
