I’ve seen others post about this problem and some says it been resolved but I’m still having the same issues. Every time my Sims go on vacation everything starts off good and then when I leave the hotel lot or return to the family after a save I can’t get past the loading screen, and I know the game has started because the little window will pop up in the corner when other will visit and etc. And yes I know about the “deleting the neighbor hack” to get the sims back but I would like them to complete a vacation.

Hi all, This issue was resolved in today's patch: Sims can sometimes become stuck at the hotel when vacationing (“Too many iterations” error on the loading screen) If you're still experiencing this, please create a new thread so we can continue to investigate. Thank you!

Here to say I am running into the same issue. Had to delete the neighborhood twice (two different destinations also). While it gets my sim home, this isn't resolved :(

tayloris123456 tayloris123456 Was the main neighborhod created/loaded before the latest patch? Can you reproduce this issue in a brand new neighborhood? I haven't encountered this in my game yet so let me know which neighborhood and vacation world you played in, and which hotel and lots were affected in your game.

Yes it was, but then after I read on another forum to delete the neighborhood folder (I did try this) and see if that helped, the issue is still persisting. For my game it is in pleasant view and the vacation lot is Takemizu Village. I can’t exactly get the name of the hotel because now my game won’t start but I remember it was the biggest lot and the most expensive.

mate54sorry I was able to get in so I did this twice the first hotel is takemizu village resort and now my sims are stuck in flaming dragon hotel

I'm also having a similar issue with going on vacation- my Sims simply won't go. I tried sending them on vacation multiple times but every time I try, I get an infinite loading screen with normal sounds playing in the background. Ever since this issue, I haven't been able to send this particular save on a date either. I get an infinite loading screen every time I send them to a public lot.
I tried deleting the Neighbourhoods folder, and it did resolve the issue. My save is also in Pleasantview and I'm trying to send them to Twikii Island.

I have tried this and it did work in bringing them back, but I’m hoping they will fix the issue without having to delete the neighborhood so my sims can complete a vacation. (Thanks for the link though ☺️)

Like i said it fixed my stuck on vacation problem without having to delete the neighborhood.. and in that same neighborhood sent another couple on vaction and it worked just fine had no problem with getting there or back from vaction

I have also been having the same issue. I noticed that its not going on vacation thats the issue - its travelling to other locations while on vacation and then trying to go back to the hotel/vacation home. At that point it will be perpetually stuck in the loading screen, and the 'delete neighbourhood' hack works, but is super annoying when I have a vacation home purchased in that neighbourhood that I've now completely lost.

You did not clarify that your sims were still able to stay on the vacation and in this form the resolution is to delete the vacation neighborhood. Maybe there was another resolution you didn’t mention, I’ll look again. :) thanks
