Sims 1

couldn't figure out where to put this, but I purchased the legacy birthday bundle. every time I try to download The Sims 1, it gets to 96% and then errors due to a C++ issue. would love to not have the installation fail everytime... I used to get this same type of error when trying to load Sims 3, luckily no more thanks to the recent update so thank you for that!
