Sims 2 + sims 2 packs. Re-release. Not work right.

Hi, my Sims 2 game won't work when the problem is DirectX9 And I have DirectX12. So I can't get Sims 2 to work even though I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game 3 times already and I don't know what to do anymore. What i have to do to fix it??????? HELP PLEASE.  I have new Laptop
