Sims 2 Anniversary-Won't Open

Question

I bought the Sims 1&amp;2 25th anniversary bundle for PC. Sims 1 works without issue.&nbsp;The Sims 2 forces the resolution to change and then won't load on screen. It crashes everything and I have to force restart.&nbsp; This has happened with both updates (as of 03/09/2025)No error messages.Please help.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Overemphasizing Please try running the game in Windowed mode. In EA App, click on the three dots on The Sims 2 game art, and select&nbsp;View Properties. In the&nbsp;Advanced Launch Options box, add "-w"&nbsp;(without quotation marks) and save the changes, then try to launch the game from EA App.
