Sims 2 legacy - suddenly crashing no error message

I have been experiencing this issue for over a month. I have contacted EA Games MULTIPLE times over the last month to get help. They are beyond useless and just close my tickets without communication and without resolution. I think we need to nag the hell out of them until they are forced to listen.
