Sims 2 Legacy collection Beach lots are extremely glitched and cause crashes

Question

I was trying to make a new beach lot in the Sims 2 Legacy edition but when I clicked into the lot to work on it, the grass looks like this and it crashes after a few minutes. Does anyone else have this issue and are there any fixes?

I dont have any help but I am also experiencing this. I cant load a beach property- my game crashes and the one time it DID load- it looked just like this.&nbsp;
