Sims 2 Legacy Memory Bug + Voice Bug

I've been playing the Newson family. I noticed that when I did the First Kiss cutscene with Ginger Newson that the cutscene happens as it should, but just before the cutscene ends you can see the Sims reset themselves and Ginger doesn't get the memory from it + the Want doesn't complete. Looking into it, it seems that her memory panel isn't filling up like the other people in her household. She is also one of the Sims who is having the Food related glitch, where the food she makes disappears after she has finished cooking it. Is anyone else having the memory bug/cutscene bugs?

Also, I've seen people talk about the voice quality, which I've noticed is really bad for Sims in the Child life stage. Sounds distorted and pitchy. Hopefully they're working on a fix to these bugs.
