Sims 2 will not open at all
I never had any issues with my game until today. For some reason all of a sudden my game will not open. I was just playing fine with no issues whatsoever and then an hour later I go to play the game ...
WynterSkyy30 ollisimslife I don't think this is something that might be patched as it has been present since the game released. Anyway, the files that you can delete to try to fix this are Groups.cache and Accessory.cache, as well as Cigen.package if it is present.
Usually when the game doesn't run (but doesn't show any errors) or shows the blank box with an X, this can fix it. You can also make these files read-only so they won't change (possibly into a state where they prevent the game from running). They are safe to delete at any time.
