Sims 2 won't save files 2025

The sims 2 won't save or remember the households that I created and played with. Everytime I create a household or choose an existing household of a world, I can play with this household and click on...

    I just tried the sims 2 again after the update (06/02/2025). When selecting a world (after saving), the families that I created are still there! So I think it is solved?

This is essentially the problem that I’m having. My game actually saved but now I can’t get back in.  When it gives you the ability to go into a lot and make changes I can still see my sims stuff in the dorm room but essentially she’s nowhere to be found.  And like you said all I have is the new game, quit and tips tutorial, the load games is nowhere to be seen.
