Text won’t appear when writing in the game
I can’t write anything in the game. Not new nimes for lots, name anyone (babies, children, animals) or write in the cheatbox.

I have the same issue after the recent patch (along with the other issues of resolution making the text too small and edge scrolling no longer working). The writing works though if you quit the game and restart. It's an on-and-off bug. Patching on a Friday and leaving for the weekend isn't a great idea. No bugs affected me until these ones.
sometimes if you hit alt and enter then you can type.. just remember to hit it again to get out of that mode. and save.. bc my game is crashing a lot.
