The game is running very smooth for me but, after everytime i restart my game and go back to my family where i have had a toddler and a child, the kids are gone. The parents still have memories from the kids but they don't excist anymore in the game. I have had to get new kids for my faamily but it keeps happening. After every restart, I also lose all my ingame settings and have to add them back. When moving my family to another house, the loading screen does not go away. After having to restart the game, the move still happened but still lose my kids. My sim also got stuck in her car when driving back home. I had to use my other sim to interact with her to trigger something and that helped and made her park the car as normal. She was stuck on the street with the car not showing.

Same here... I started my Pleasantview rotation and all kids born while playing get deleted, even unborn baby Broke. He was a toddler in my game and after relaunch he was just gone, but memories etc. still there.

Happened to me as well! Stopped playing yesterday with twin babies in my household, started the game today just fine.. But after relaunching the game an hour later the twins (who were now kids) are just gone! Not going to bother anymore, back to Sims 1 it is.. Hopefully there will be an update soon!

At first it was just a pet wouldn't even load into my household but when I loaded up the game today my original sim was just gone, too. Just her townie husband and adopted dog was left. Hopefully it'll be fixed (and soon) considering there's no reason to play the game imo if you're just going to lose your sims.

I have that same problem too. It happened to me twice, when I tried to create a family with one kid, and after moving them into a house, the kid just disappeared, and when I tried to restart the save file, all of my sims were gone.

I noticed this happened to me (only once so far) when I left the game without saving it, and when I came back my dog was gone from the family.

Same. My child was deleted after restarting the game.
Also I had an loading screen that didn't go away twice when traveling to an community lot.
Otherwise the game has been working but it's hard to play when these things happen :(

Just wanted to chime in and say I'm dealing with this bug too. I created the family, moved them into a house, and one of the kids disappeared. The game crashed, and when I came back, both kids and the dog were gone. Now I'm scared if I log out, the whole family will cease to exist.
