The Window Closes when Going Off-Monitor

With The Sims 2 Legacy coming out, I already see a lot of issues reported. So, I'm here to report another issue.
If you have more than one monitor connected to the computer, both The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 will disappear when you click somewhere in the monitor where the game isn't running. Both games can't be put in windowed the game. There is one way to do that mentioned here before running the game.
The reason why I'm reporting it is that I also have the Ultimate Collection. And this isn't an issue there. I can click somewhere off-monitor and the game won't disappear and stays open.
Updating the post. This problem has now been solved with the latest patch and both The Sims 2 and The Sims 1 won't minimize anymore.
There is one mistake I have to correct though: it turns out that I remembered it incorrectly and Ultimate Collection does minimize... So, happy to see it being solved in Legacy, making it somewhat better. Just more fixes and IKEA left...
