Well it is from 2004. It is starting to age but that's normal. For its time it was revolutionary (unlike other Sims games hehe)
But since it is 16 years old now there are frustrating things about it that technology was not able to deal with at the time.
I can personally still enjoy it. I have almost as many hours in the Sims 2 as in the Sims 4 but it takes some getting used to.
