I downloaded this version: http://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=4361233, which I assume is the current one, and after 10 minutes of playing encountered several problems with stuck Sims. Well, it's not actually stuck Sims, but Sims placed in some spatial non-place, so-to-speak. Focussing on them draws the camera onto the second floor, for example, while they are visibly standing on the first floor. Going down to the first floor will render them invisible, because technically the game thinks they are on the second floor.
You did move them with moveobjects, didn't you? Because that's the behaviour I usually encountered when I did that and saved afterwards. These Sims then tend to sink into the ground when they move between floors or are unable to move somewhere because they occupy two places at once.
So far, I've found this with the following families: Jaughook, Radford, Burke Sr., Blightwood and Sludge. These were all the families I switched to during the first ten or twenty minutes.
Mr. Jaughook has the additional peculiarities of having the Vampiric Vigour at 11 a.m. still, his best friend Radford not being tagged as friend's house in Map View (and vice versa), and he went invisible after only two minutes play.
His maid also receives the "Cannot Route" bubble constantly.
From my experience a resetsim while the affected Sim is on their home lot will not fix this properly.
I haven't tried a resetsim* yet or a reset of the world with the help of a mod. But in this stage I gather that the world will become unplayable within short time.
Maybe this can be fixed by moving ALL families out via Edit Town and moving them back in, but if ever you consider to update this world you might perhaps want to look into this issue. I guess it will be less dramatic if a Vampire will start the game outside of their home than have them stuck forever in some limbo. If the front doors of their homes are set properly (the Brightwood's front door is the garage btw), they will go into their houses anyway after a while or the Meta-Autonomy will send them someplace around town within a few minutes, independent of where they were positioned first. After only 5 minutes all the Blightwoods, for example, were not at home anymore, except for the stuck ones, when I switched to that family.
Other than that, fantastic world, from what I could see during my short excursion there.
