- Emily4331Seasoned NewcomerFor me, I tend to give my sims a brand new outfit daily. Though, admittedly, I sometimes get lazy and give them three at a time that I cycle through per season.
- I used have my main sims wear the same outfit every day for an age span. Then change it when they aged up. Or, for sims I'd play for a very long time, I'd change it whenever I felt like it.
Currently, my sims' children who move out after aging to YA get a new outfit each birthday. The parents, who I'm playing long term, get new outfits whenever I feel like it. They currently have 4 everyday outfits, one for each season, which requires a mod. They have only one outfit it all the other categories.
I picked other since I do a mix of options in my current game. Mostly, through, my sims get one outfit they wear until their next birthday. - Honestly, my Sims wear the same.outfit throughout a lifestage unless I get new stuff. Otherwise it's the same few outfits for a while . Despite taking off said clothes and doing laundry . You have entered the twilight zone ... do do do do ,do do do do ... >:)
- NikkeiSimmerRising AdventurerI generally have one outfit each for: everyday, formal, sleepwear, sports, swimming, career...plus a few other added from skills (martial arts), university grad outfit...
I generally tend to change outfits when I get bored of seeing my sims in the same outfit...which becomes really quite monotonous if you're playing an EPIC lifespan. :D - Emily4331Seasoned Newcomer@TreyNutz I feel like your system is much better than mine...since you probably actually have time to play the game and don't spend hours in CAS.
@MemoriiValentine I must always have Seinfeld on the mind, because your comment reminded me of Jerry's girlfriend who always wore the same black and white dress. haha!
@Nikkei_Simmer I can relate. I love CAS, but changing the outfits of an entire family as frequently as I tend to on long lifespan...Sometimes I don't like CAS anymore. - Hahah  I am using all the five options to make an outfit in every category. I love making my sims wear differently each day.
- Gitte2001Seasoned RookieThey just start with one outfit, and I make more along the way, mostly when it gets winter. When I feel an outfit doesn't fit them anymore I delete it and make a new one to take it's place.
- I tend to fill up every outfit slot, and then use athletic to get even more slots (since my sims tend to just stay skinny, there is no need for exercise). I usually make a few outfits to match different weather types, like longer sleeves for autumn and winter and stuff like that.
I also tend to change these up often so their look doesn't get too stale. - Changing them day to day would be nice for pictures, but I'd never get any playing in. I usually try to change at least their Everyday depending on the temperature. Unless I still really like their look.
- I really don't care what my sims wear, as long as it's not too goofy. I hate giving sims makeovers and the stylist profession is one of my least favorites. I usually just give them one makeover per birthday, so a total of 6 throughout their lives.
