Is it possible for worlds to be set to only certain weather?

I downloaded a world called Rinn Fada
https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=6316863

And the only weather I get is cloudy skies(I mean it rains and such, but the sun never shines).I removed my lighting mod and still experienced it.So I was wondering if by chance it could be the creator set it to cloudy only?

  • The only way I know to change the weather is with the Tempest mod. http://nraas.wikispaces.com/Tempest
  • I don't think they used any mods in their world, I downloaded it and installed it, but I don't see anyway to edit the weather, so I removed it.

Just everyday in the world is cloudy and grey.Wasn't sure if CAW had an option to set it so only certain weather occurs.
  • CAW doesn't have an option to set the weather. :)

Ini files have to be edited to alter the weather (and S3pe used to import) and I am pretty sure they can make it cloudy everyday if they make every ini file the same type (which is what I'm doing for a world).
If they did it I don't know. I don't believe so. CC weather files should over ride the world files.

How many days has it been?

About 13 sim days. And it happens in all worlds.I just tried Island Paradise as well.
  • That´s really impressive for me because I am doing a world and I do not have any option to do this. The creator somehow used simpe to edit files.

You have the same options to use S3pe to do it. The same way but you put it in the Installed World files or Package them as a mod. :)
  • I've been having this weird phenomenon too, to some extend. I'm currently making a world so my game is completely mod and cc free and every world I enter is cloudy but it only lasts the first day, I've never had it happen before but now it even happen in lucky palms, it's like dark stormy clouds in all the worlds.

This is what it looks like, and when I do cheats to change weather it says its sunny. Its now week 3 day 1

Yes, it is happening in all my worlds, so I now know its not just custom worlds.I blamed it on my lighting mod, but I removed my mod folder and it still happens. The thing is I really like this world, but the gloomy weather is getting depressing.I went into Sunset Valley and yes it was cloudy for the first 3 days, then it cleared up.

This is how my worlds look too. Mine seem to go away after a few hours or the first day. It's weird because it never happened until my last reinstall a few months ago.

Have you tried changing the weather to heavy rain and then back to sunny?
