*NO PRANK! Vampire to Demon? Is This Normal?? w/Pics

Hi, Simmers! This post concerns Late Night Vampires.

I had an event in my game and just want to make certain it is part of the normal gameplay. I don't play with the occults, so I have to ask those of you who do. Does a vampire turn demon-eyed and vicious the closer they get to starving to death?

I'm playing the 'Mixture of Good and Bad' household in Bridgeport which has the vampire Beau Merrick in it. Let me first say, I'm not the sort of player who kills, tortures or harms my Sims. I AM the sort of player who likes to push the natural boundaries of the game though (once I know where those boundaries lay).

Here's what happened:
I wanted to know how much nourishment plasma fruit gives to a near starving vampire, so I had Beau help me with a little experiment. He was approaching the yellow thirst bar and sent a wish for a plasma juice box. I put the wish in the save area for granting later because I was curious about the plasma fruit effect. When he reached the first level of thirst (I'll equate it with the Sims 3 hour hunger warning), he started heading towards the fridge to get a juice box. I canceled the interaction, he paused for a moment, then reactivated it and began walking towards the fridge again.

I canceled the interaction again, he paused again but became noticeably irritable. Once more he reactivated the interaction and continued walking towards the fridge. Since he was kind-of close to the fridge, I was thinking I would have to temporarily put it in the family inventory until his thirst bar hit the 24 hour deep orange/red bar. Once his bar reached the orange zone, he put up the 'drink plasma juice' interaction which I canceled again.

Well, I guess Beau had had just about enough of me toying with him so he stopped walking, turned to face me (directly where my camera was - just his head, his body was still pointed towards the fridge) and glared at me with large black eyes and an evil expression. Now, I am aware that a Sim will sport those eyes in CAS sometimes when you face them towards the mirror and I'm sure under some circumstances it may happen in game. However, there were no issues with his eyes only moments before this. Oh, he has CC contacts in. After he ate his fruit, his eyes and expression went back to normal and he became happy again.

**I thought maybe the light from the kitchen window had caused the effect since it faded his hair a bit. But when I compared it with other similar shots his eyes are/were never affected. So is this normal? Do vampires turn demon-ish from severe thirst pains?
