- xxnearlyperfectxNew SpectatorI am having a huge issues where none of the careers are working and can never do a full day of work. She leaves when she gets there. Most days she can't get to work as it won't let her. Should I move to another town???
- Can they enter the building for things other than work? There could also be something blocking them from entering. Twinbrook, for example, has a default layout that prevents sims from using the bookstore. You just have to bump it a few tiles back.
Maybe try moving the building? - one problem I've had is when you select a Sim ( in their little picture box) then you go to another Sim, both of them will be highlighted, and you can't play either one. The Goddards, Pauline & Hank
- @xxnearlyperfectx -I had that happen in some of my early saves just after social workers had taken children away either from my active family as in the case of their baby being taken or from inactives like that one where Claire Usine died and her baby got taken. The other one was where a child got taken for failing at school because the building was overcrowded and he couldn't get into the school. It's also possilble that's an early sign of your save becoming corrupted as it often happens like that after a sim is deleted by TCE,social worker taking a child or a failed return from any kind of travel.

You look at your save file and the sim's photo is all messed up or their lot isn't showing.

For example, the Vanderburg sim is showing up, but her lot image isn't.This isn't my pic, but it did happen to me the other day, and it caused my lot to keep flashing, I had to bulldoze the lot, replace it and save as instead of save.
That can be caused by having a tent in a chest.- NikkeiSimmerNew Vanguard@ScottDemon, I've noticed that if a photo is darker than usual on your launcher, it usually means that the file is messed up. I've had instances where my save goes sideways and if I try to play a game with a darkened photo, it's not going to turn out well.

That sounds like a busted UI. I'm surprised it would even load.
But the missing save thumbnail and lot image is usually (but not always) a tent in a chest as I've seen that many times (after all these years I'm still dumb enough to keep doing it :D ) besides bulldozing wouldn't fix it (it would bring the thumbnail and lot image back as would removing the tent from the chest but if the save is actually corrupted the corruption would still be there and the thumbnail and lot image would still be missing).- xxnearlyperfectxNew Spectator

She enters, but does not stay most of the time. Now, it has got to a point where she can't go to work at all - karritzSeasoned Rookie

If this was happening in my game I'd save her to the library with all of her household posessions in her inventory or family inventory and transfer her to a fresh save. Or use Porter mod to save her and whoever else in the world you want her to continue to remember and relate to and move them to a new save.
Whatever you finally come up with, I hope it all works out for you. - @xxnearlyperfectx -That's exactly how things went in my save where Claire Ursine's baby was taken by the social worker after she died and it started after the baby got taken away and things got worse until I had sims in wrong-aged careers like elders in elementary school and toddlers in high school or adult careers.Nobody was in the right aged careers after that save started getting corrupted. It sounds like you've had a child taken away from one of the town's families in your game and that can cause a save to become corrupted.I had three of them corrupted from that social worker situation.
@karritz -That workplace failure can be either a glitched rabbit hole which means replacing the rabbit hole or a child got taken by the social worker and the save is becoming corrupted.Glitched workplace means deleting the old rabbit hole shell and replacing it to get the workplace working again though it can mean a corrupted save if nobody in town is staying at work or school to the end of the day or shift and others can't get to work.
