Where do NRAAS settings save to?

I don't think they save into a folder. At least I've never heard of them doing that and I've been using the mods since day one!

I think they save into the Library folder but unless you rename Library files (like I try to do when I remember) it's hard to differentiate between households, lots and saved settings because they are a few letters followed by a string of numbers.

There is a very small town in the state of Vermont that we are fond of. The mod's settings get saved there in a large barn on the outskirts of the map. (okay, this is just me trying to be funny and failing; please before the hate mail starts rolling in, I just picked that state totally at random and have nothing against players who happen to be from Vermont). :p

Exported mod settings, when we use Overwatch to export them all or one of the other mods with that function to export singly, do get stored in the Library folder as an item that if it is not renamed will look just like any other Library file. From there they await a subsequent import into another game save. If you do an Overwatch import, it will recognize only exported settings as possibilities to use and will ignore everything else in that folder.

But this might not be what is meant. Without having done an export, mod settings are game save and world specific, and are stored in the game save, in the actual nhd file of the associated world that had been played.

I’ve played with those mods for years and never knew we could do that!

Library folder. It saves as gibberish. ebf_00x0x0x0x0x000010101x010x10x01x010x.package etc

What I did was exported settings then looked at what time the new file was created. It was created the same time i exported so figured that must be the file.

And alas it was :)

so great, now i've got my nraas settings all backed up too!

I tried loading my Nraas settings I made a couple days ago and they didn't load. I still had to set everything up.

They only load partially in my experience.

I find it best to export the most important/biggest ones separately rather than just use overwatch. i'll import story prog, woohooer, retuner, relativity then i'll do a big overwatch import and just give a quick glance over settings. seems to have worked fine for me :)

I do sp as one, and the rest into overwatch export as one big thing(retuner,wh,mc all in one heap). Seems to be working so far.
