DivinylsFan​  I wasn't being sarcastic, I was mentioning the obvious detail that I thought you probably already knew but wasn't sure because you hadn't specified.  When I'm trying to help someone with a problem, overlooking the obvious answer can waste a lot of my and the other player's time.  The way I phrased it was an attempt to not assume you had no idea but to also bring it up just in case.

If this is in fact a bug with the SwiftGro station, rather than an in-game issue that the item sometimes triggers, and I haven't seen anything definitive either way, then I'm not sure what you're looking for here.  A true bug could only be avoided, or addressed by a mod.  I offered a potential workaround; I don't know of a mod that specifically fixes issues with the SwiftGro station.

I do think the problem with University may be your computer struggling to run all the simulations the game engine throws at it, especially with SP added in.  But I'm not here to tell people to buy new computers; I'm trying to help them make the most of whatever setup they have.

Since you're apparently not interested in my style of helping anymore though, I'll bow out here.  Maybe someone else will have suggestions for you.
