Hmm okay. So revised set of steps would be
1) To get the Windows laptop and download and use the media creation tool to burn a disc image onto a USB. Now on that webpage it tells me to select from Win10 2018 with April and October being the only difference. Do I just select one or it a matter of example: 'my dad's laptop was last updated in October therefore I must use that corresponding one?'
2) I assume would be installing of Win10 by I assume connecting the flash drive and well, looking up a guide from there.
3) Since I don't need it right away, I then need to buy a product code from Amazon Direct (which I've never heard of before and googling it with only 'Amazon Video Direct' and 'Amazon Prime Video Direct' showing up isn't helping my confusion, though I did just sign up for Prime so hopefully that means it will take only two days lol.)
