account on sims not working

I just bought sims a few days ago and i didnt start having problems until yesterday. Yesterday when i tried logging into origin my password wasn't working so i just reset the password. after i reset the password i was able to log back into my account on both origin and the ea website however i was not able to log in on the sims 3. Ive talked to two people so far about it and no one can help me. Ive tried everything, I reset my password again, i deleted the sims 3 and reinstalled it, i even waited almost a full day because one of the people i talked to said it was a glitch with the password reset and it will work in a few hours. can you all Please help

    @Kaedeebug  Sims 3 can't handle passwords that have special characters in them, so if yours does, please remove them.  Please also delete the file in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads labeled [your email].bin.

    It may also help to delete the system's saved password data.  Open Applications > Utilities, launch Keychain Access, search for sims3 , and delete any entries with that in their name.

    it unfortunately didn't work, thank you so much for your help though! i may just have to get in contact with ea again.. its been like this for days and no one knows how to fix it like idek what i did wrong lol
